In my 25 years of working for nonprofits both large and small, Deborah is one of the few people I’ve worked alongside who is both creative in her visions, and highly competent in executing them. She can take a problem or issue, analyze what needs to happen, think strategically about how to get there, and encourage the ideas and skills of fellow workers throughout this process. She is equally skilled in the “doing” part of the work: she writes beautifully, can work with numbers and budgets, is highly organized, and on-time with everything she does. She even brings design skills to her work, when needed. Any organization would be lucky to have her on board.
